ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Where the Passion Began

 

Gail Sham is a dynamic corporate communications and public relations professional. Her know-how has been built through 15 years of extensive hands-on experience. She spent nine years in an agency environment working on numerous blue-chip clients both within the corporate and consumer space at Magna Carta Public Relations. Gail then moved into the role of Corporate Communications Manager KFC Africa, managing the promotion and protection of the brand.


Gail is creative and collaborative, with an impeccable work ethic and drive for excellence. She is a strong storyteller and content curator on social and traditional media platforms. She has exceptionally strong crisis and issues management experience, leading the management of KFC’s prominent social media crisis in 2015 which made headlines locally and internationally. 

Gail demonstrates a deep passion for Corporate Social Investment and developing brands with meaningful purpose. Leaving the corporate world behind her, Gail started Scoop Communications in January 2018.
